As President of Alternative Management, Katrina Bruce began working with association management in 1985 and serves as Executive Director for many of our clients. NAIOP Southern Nevada has trusted her services for more than 25 years. During that time, she received national recognition by receiving NAIOP’s Chapter Merit Award for Outstanding Contribution by a Chapter Executive three times.
What is an Association Management Company?
An association management company (AMC) provides management and specialized administrative services to trade associations and professional societies using a for-profit approach that runs not-for-profit associations as businesses. Alternative Management manages associations of varying sizes and affords clients a professional staff of diverse skills, experience in the association marketplace, flexibility, adaptability and a centralized facility with two conference rooms.

AMC Institute advances professionalism and high industry standards for association management companies. We provide expert support and resources to drive new business to our members and keep them in the forefront of emerging trends and knowledge. We champion accreditation to promote industry best practices and create educational and networking opportunities to engage and learn.
